| This tool is a direct descendant of the NV45AB, which was a wonderful novelty, yet Hitachi was not contented with it that’s why they made more tweaks and thus created the NV45AB2 coil roofing nailer, which garnered a lot of awards and praises all across the globe. And we think that they really deserve it. There are no more ruckuses going on the roof since the deepness of the drive alterations is now tool-free. Hitachi also ditched the old handle grip and replacing it with a new set of rubber grip that’s gives a non-slip hold. Rubber pads were put together unto the metal body shield, making sure of a full grip without really slipping off. Hitachi retained the best trait of the nailer’s daddy, too – things like the pneumatic feed and return (most of the nailers usually have spring return), which help power the equipment through tar and buildup that might be a jam otherwise. Difficult housing stands up to shingle scrapes, plus a carbide-tipped push lever boasts a long-lasting nose of the tool. At an ideal weight of 2.5 lbs. this gear fires at an amazing three nails per second. And for sure, the roofers will adore these alterations. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste | |||||||||||||||
